Mountain Town Stages is seeking individuals to be on it's Board of Trustees. Mountain Town Stages is a non-profit organization
whose goal is to present, support and foster live music in Park City and Summit County, Utah.

Board Member Responsibilities
- Must attend at least 50% of all Board Meetings
- Cannot miss 3 consecutive board meetings
- Must be willing to volunteer at events – minimum of 50 hours per year, and for at least one of the two annual fundraisers
- Must attend yearly retreat (in early November)
- Must have a love of music
- Must be willing to chair/be in charge of one facet of our programming/events
- Must find at least 5 new silent auction items for each of our two annual fundraisers
- Support the Executive Director and assess his/her performance.
The Board should ensure that the Executive Director has the moral and professional support he or she needs to further the goals of
MTS.
- Ensure effective organizational planning. Board must actively participate in an overall planning process and assist in
implementing and monitoring the plan's goals.
- Enhance MTS’s public standing. The board should clearly articulate the MTS’s mission, accomplishments, and goals to the public and
garner support from the community.
- Determine, monitor, and strengthen MTS’s programs and services. The Board is responsible for determining which programs are
consistent with the MTS’s mission and to monitor their effectiveness.
